Joplin was in dire need when he happened into a live trap, set to save the cats free roaming a trailer park with new owners, who want no free roaming cats inside the park. It is out of hand there, but cats, whom some residents toss out like used needles or fast food wrappers, unfixed, and then breed, are the least of the problem. Drugs are far more a problem there than cats. Drug use often leads to horrors not only for kids but for animals. Joplin is safe now.
