Having talked with Ron at length about the past and how his circle of activist friends and acquaintances appears to have shrunk, Aristo examines the relationship between these two forces of human experience. He defines them, compares them, and even establishes how one can lead to the other. Fate is usually a pattern of circumstance thrust upon us beyond our control, but still within our ability to respond (response-ability), regardless if we exercise that ability or not. As if making a point, to give an example, at some point in the recording an annoying high pitch tone filled the audio. Aristo messed with his connections and video was lost for several minutes.  [Ron removed the lost video section but could not fix the sound interference.] The talk actually gets more coherent after that, something Aristo incorporates into his discussion, noting that sourcing fate to nourish destiny is a path to fulfill the latter. It isn't easy, at least until we get the hang of it, but it is worth the effort.
