At a home with no walls
Another enchanted eve
Detached my soul stalks the night
Incumbent yet I'm front and center
Awaiting the harbinger with baited
Breath
And as the descending sun sets
The night ablaze, her shadow falls
Her shawl drapes the stars
Alas the sirens sound overhead
Senescense and sin bound and
Weary of the wait
Alas merely the anacrusis
A knock upon heaven's gate and
I'm found wanting again
Perched upon the crest of the universe
Above the clouds and beneath the rain
Thunder strikes a lucid chord and
Every spark resonates in me
Delicate her tears fall silent tonight
The radiant twilight ousts the allure
Of night and day
Wrecked by silence, the wisp in her plea
Quivers in the breeze
Ashes scatter over seas
And still behind this rouge mask
I admire her grace on the tides
Her breath wakes the lake
And suddenly I'm on the lamb
Victimized by her esoteric infiltration
Of my dreams by first light...
Another tale burdened by a tragic beauty
The somber delicacy, pouting lips curled
Precociously about every kiss
Savoring her taste on my lips as again
I wake from dreams of delirium
Only to be complicated by her alluring grace
Yet the oracle within recedes the memory
Tracing the roots of our legacy;
"If I could only reach her now ..."
Visions betray me
Seething the sun knows no rest
The clouds slowly dissolve into sylphs
The embers gather to rekindle the flame
Musing as the corrosive tears leave
Only death and decay as souvenirs
Intent I pursue the nightcrawlers
Back to her deluged hostel
Where the lost crowd a haunting
Left forever adrift in reveries
I'd always recall the mourning serenade
On the night a blind Moon witnessed us as one
United we'd sledge-hammer time through space
There amongst the lazy haze stood our past
Present and future
Joined together again through the heart
Reaching-out across cyber highways of virtuosity
I'd found her here, felt her near
A taste to compromise my sin
Her pain made me care again
Now I'd ache for her release
Forevermore to crave her moans
Through the surplus of throbbing sex and
Scathing plasma; elated I'd bathe in ecstasy
Timeless as the toxins age the cycle
And this rift elongates the space
Where awestruck moments are suspended
In time to gawk at our shine
Resolute I declare; "I love her
I feel her I feed her my life
She's in my blood, she owns my pulse"
The inferno negotiates her broken heart
Treacherous the kiss she'd stolen from me
Bitten by her lips, pores spoiled and venom left oozing
Her eyes like orbs of light glisten in the night
Her flesh heaving in my arms
Her tears dissolve in the rain as the evening wends
At last the sun rests in her gaze
The shine ruptures the sky
New day delivers timeless rapture
Yet captured by her light I knew then and there
This could no longer compute, I implode, shouting;
"My love"
Blasting circuitry, cyber highways and fiber optics
My careless smile incites the stars as I breathe her in;
"This world may no longer hold me I'm coming through...".
