Went for a bike ride from Vermont to Wantirna on Melbourne Cup Day 2010. Tried out the new trailer and it performed perfectly. Weather was terrible but the event was an organised one so we were committed to attend. In the trailer was a portable ham radio station. Total trailer weight probably 80kg trailer maximum is listed as 100kg. Had to make a bracket up to lower the trailer hitching point for if I connected it to axle the front of the trailer was raised too high. Rain eventually stopped and we were undercover anyway. Had a great day. Thanks to Ralph VK3LL for the great footage of the event. Audio Track is "Dragonfly" by Train Robbin' Scoundrels (CC License)
