Feb. 24 (Bloomberg) -- Stephen Hester, chief executive officer of Royal Bank of Scotland Plc, talks with Bloomberg's Francine Lacqua about the company's performance and outlook.
The U.K.'s biggest government-owned lender said net loss for 2010 was 1.1 billion pounds ($1.78 billion), missing analyst estimates, as losses from Ireland rose and profit from investment banking fell. The bank, which received 45.5 billion-pound taxpayer rescue, is 83 percent owned by the government. (Source: Bloomberg)
