Deborah Danner, a 66 year old woman who had suffered with schizophrenia for decades, was killed by a NYC police officer on Tuesday.  Reports indicate that Danner had baseball and came at Sgt. Hugh Barry with it, prompting him to use lethal force to eliminate the threat.  Simply put, this was a terrible and disgusting miscarriage of justice.
