Hello and welcome to The BETTER BICYCLING Show!
My name is Fred Dixon and I am the producer of The BETTER BICYCLING Show. This is my very first show and I hope BETTER BICYCLING will be a weekly show about all things bicycles. So please subscribe to keep up with our shows and videos. Colorado Front Range bicycle racing is our main focus, along with nutrition, local trails, training tips, interviews and cool information about the bicycling world.

Videos in this week's show include The 2012 Colorado State Cyclocross Championships at the Cross Of The North. The very fast, jumpy course was a mix of BMX and long basically long flat sections. The run-up that took down many a racer was the hot spot to watch the race action. As you will see in both videos, the cold weather did not dampen the hot race action. The first video is the Single Speeders and Senior Women Cat. 4 race. The second video is the Senior Women Open and the Senior Men's Open races.

Then enjoy a great interview with Steve Bouey, world traveler and filmmaker. Steve talks about planning for the 'round the world bicycle adventure. Steve and his cycling partner will be traversing the globe on Single Speed bicycles. They will be fully loaded with gear being self-supporting.

We also have a great and quick video interview with Wesley of Pro Bike Express. Pro Bike Express transports bicycles and gear to races like a professional racing cyclist. Our quick interview with Wesley shines the light on what PBE is and does. From safely getting your racing bike and gear to the race to giving you a very cool hangout place during the race. So if you want to feel like a pro then travel like a pro with Pro Bike Express.

BETTER BICYCLING takes a 'Local Ride' on the High Plains Trail in Superior, Colorado, which is just south of Boulder. This is the first video of our plan to video the entire trail that goes around Marshal Reservoir. Local Rides are videos of off-road bicycling trails on the Front Range, mostly Boulder / Superior / Broomfield areas right now. The videos are an armchair tour of the trail to give you a quick look at the trail before you head out.

I produce The BETTER BICYCLING Show from a lifetime of bicycling experience. I have raced, commuted and found pleasure in bicycling since I was a wee lad. Please subscribe to the channel to keep up with all of the shows and videos.
Cheers and I hope to see you out there riding your bicycle. FRED
