We were thrilled to discover that we were near Ladder Canyon Trail when we arrived in Palm Desert, California. It is a rough 30 minute road into the trail but it is worth it. I promise! The landscape and canyon were gorgeous and we got a great work out. We went back the next day and it was even better the second day. We first learned about the trail on Bex the Cat Herder's channel. If you like feeling like a big kid, you should definitely check it out. It took us roughly two hours to complete it. We would consider it a moderate hike. Although it is a pet friendly hike, you would have to have a very portable dog for it to work. We would have liked to bring Fiona with us but we are glad we didn't attempt it.
