Waiting

Philly bound
On another warm December morning

Just another day on the job
With weather that has me concerned

The holidays are near
But, it doesn't feel much like it

With Warm days lingering
As if the weather were in slow motion
Wishing these days would pass

After a long day
Of meeting with clients and calls
I travel home, tired I dream
longing for winter, for snow
Waiting
Waiting like you
