Plans Change Decisions Don't

I'm not sure if you've ever heard that statement but this little sign reminded me of it in a huge and powerful way today.

When I saw this sign, it hit my like a freight train! I remembered all of the times I got detoured on my career path in network marketing.

Here I am, cruising along the beautiful beach off a private island in paradise. I don't even think about money anymore, my life is amazing, and my future looks even better!

But getting here, well that was a crazy ride. Almost like one of those solid wooden roller coasters that violently thrash you around like a rag doll on the sharp turns beating the crap out of you (but at least it's sort of fun).

Then it goes into the straight away and the thrill of the ride. And just as you start to really enjoy the thrill, you hit another one of those "shake you death" turns!

I went through that in network marketing for years. I'd build a great team and the company would go out of business. So I decided to start an internet marketing company and ended up $100K in debt!

Started my own network marketing company and ended up 60 days away from bankruptcy, $750K in debt!

And all of this leads me to one statement I heard from Troy Brown. He said that plans change decisions don't.

Lock that into your mind: Plans change decisions don't.

What that means is, your decision to create success can, will, and should remain constant. The path in which you get there, well, that will always be changing and there isn't a thing you can do about other than keep focused on your decisions!

So when the detours come up, and they will, just always remember that plans change decisions don't...
