Patrick Schwerdtfeger discusses the tools available to bulk unfollow people on Twitter. The practice is pretty aggressive and is usually preceded be a bulk follow where people are hoping those followed will follow back. When that doesn't happen, you have to periodically bulk unfollow the accumulated following to realign the numbers. Is it on the line? Yes, but it exists so we need to understand it.

This video was recorded on August 15, 2009 in Berkeley, CA. It was part of a full-day workshop entitled Social Media Victories Real Businesses, Real Campaigns, Real Results which focused on how entrepreneurs, small business owners and self-employed service professionals can leverage Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook and YouTube to grow their businesses.

Patrick is the author of Webify Your Business Internet Marketing Secrets for the Self-Employed (2009) as well as Make Yourself Useful Marketing in the 21st Century (2008). You can purchase the latest book on Amazon but you can also get it for free at the following website.

The email course does not have those itemized to-do lists.

This video is for those who are aggressively trying to build their following on Twitter. Twitter prohibits people from following people beyond 10% more than those following them. That means you have to periodically bulk unfollow all those people who you are following but who are not following you back. It doesn't really affect anything because the only people affected are people who do not follow you anyway.

Patrick is a sought-after professional speaker who has spoken in Canada, the United States, Europe and South America.
