In the presence of H.E. The Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development for the United Arab Emirates, Abdulrahman Al Owais, Nja Mahdaoui, the internationally recognized Tunisian artist worked alongside four young Emirati artists to create a work of art in front of a live audience at Christie's Dubai today. The work will offered as the final lot in the auction of Modern and Contemporary Arab, Iranian and Turkish Art tomorrow evening, Tuesday, April 17. The proceeds from the sale will benefit the Noor Dubai Foundation. The artists working with Mr. Mahdaoui were Khawla Al Marri, Shamma Al Amri and Zeinab Alhashemi, all represented by Ara Gallery, and Faiza Mobarak. Christie's sales are sponsored by Zurich.
