Germany is home to about 15 million people with an immigrant background. Especially the old people find it hard to cope in Germany. Language problems and cultural differences are big hurdles, for example when visiting the doctor. Ramazan Salman helps people like that. The son of Turkish immigrants set up the Ethno medicine centre in the 1990s to help doctors and foreign patients better understand each other. As a reward the Schwab foundation has named him Social Entrepreneur 2008.
