A broken line of thunderstorms with several discrete rotating cells formed on the lake breeze at about 4:00 PM. No confirmed tornadoes, but many reports of 1-2" diameter hail and 60-70 mph wind gusts. Along with a rare (for Michigan) backed southeasterly low level flow, these storms had an extremely soupy airmass to feed off with dewpoints well into the lower 70s. This particular cell was extremely slow moving between 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM. It backbuilt over parts of Ottowa county, dumping up to 5 inches of rain over a period of just over an hour or so. You'll notice the rolling "anvil crawler" thunder was pretty much constant. There was a weakly rotating mesocyclone and semi-formed wall-cloud / tail-cloud visible over western Kent county. It fell apart before reaching my location though. Be sure to turn the volume up for the thunder. :) There's no super close cracks as the storm became outflow dominant and stopped producing frequent CGs by the time it got to my location. That was the only real disappointment.
