Lightning storms ripped through the mid valley last day of July.  For seven minutes, as I lay in bed, I held up my small camera, to see if I could capture some of the storm.  I was tired, however, and fell asleep. I'd been camping in the Cascades, and up there, thunderstorms had drenched camp one night and lightning struck a tree in the campground.
