Ithaca Falls is one of the highest, largest, and most accessible waterfalls in New York State. Beautiful at any time of year, it doesn't get any more gorgeous than it is during the peak of fall colors. At 150 feet high and 175 feet wide, it begins to suggest the American Falls at Niagara, as Fall Creek plunges from its gorge on the Cornell University campus and over a cliff on its way to Cayuga Lake. Ithaca Falls is in a small city park and it's only a minute's walk to the base of the waterfall.
