The global reception is mixed when it comes to China and Africa economic ties despite the economic benefits that the Chinese investments have created on the continent. Defenders say that in order for Africa to grow, the continent needs more debt that's not allowed by the IMF or other lenders and that China's bold debt relief comes in handy.
