In 2005, Make-A-Wish Mid-Atlantic granted Ashwani's wish to meet Denzel Washington. Having battled non-Hodgkin lymphoma, Ashwani's wish not only allowed him to meet his favorite actor and icon, but gave him hope for the many possibilities life still held for him. Ten years later, Ashwani is an active volunteer for Make-A-Wish Mid-Atlantic and shares the impact of his wish in this video.
