On our way to Florida we stopped at Meriwether Lewis (the leader of Lewis and Clark) Campground Natchez Trace Parkway. Not only is the area beautiful it is packed full of history. This is the spot where Meriwether Lewis died and was buried. It also is the major highway of the OLD SOUTHWEST (not the new southwest). Called the Natchez Trace Parkway. This campground it located near Hohenwald, Tennessee. After years of working 60 to 70 hours a week and never taking a vacation, Carolyn and I decided to quit our job and begin our full time RV’ing. We bought a 1970 Starcraft pop-up camper and are in the process of fixing it up. We may buy something more substantial later but we are quite excited starting our adventure in this pop-up. “We are a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for us to earn fees by linking to Amazon.com and affiliated sites.
