Shooting the M1 Garand on my birthday. My friend Matt, an ROTC cadet, shoots very well with it. I sight it in at 100 yards and then try my luck at the plate. I'm much more used to v-notch and u-notch sights, so I don't do as well with it. I'll need to practice more with apeture sights.
