Likes Jacko is a sweet but sensitive little chap. He has had some unpleasant handling by children in the past and therefore he can be worried by any intense handling and will need a hands-off approach initially. He loves going for walks and playing with tennis balls. He's very intelligent so enjoys games which challenge him mentally. He has a couple of doggie walking friends, but can be worried by bigger dogs, Jacko prefers quiet, peaceful walks. Type of home needed Jacko will need an adult-only home, that's not a busy house-hold, with patient, committed owners who are willing to give him the time to settle in. Once settled Jacko would be happy with adult visitors to the home, but please no children! Time left alone is best build up gradually. He's a lovely boy who has been through some tough times, but is now looking for understanding owners who will give him the chance he deserves. More about me Potential adopters should be prepared to visit Jacko several times before taking him home and should live within a one hour drive of the Centre so that we can provide ongoing support in the home. 1128096
