Quick note: RedXIII has materia in this fight via unavoidable means. The rules state this is ok as long as you don't use any of the materia during the fight. In this fight offense is everything, and attacking doesn't do a lot of damage because HO512 is in the back row. Only Barret can deal a decent amount of damage. The only solution to this is to throw items at him, but i need to save all these items for the upcoming battle with Hundred and Heli Gunner. This battle takes a certain amount of luck to win without using items and without losing a team member. Basically somebody needs to get their limit break twice, and criticals help. **************************************** "NM" stands for "No Materia". In this challenge, I will complete the game without ever using or equipping materia (with some unavoidable exceptions). Like my other challenge I will only be recording and uploading the boss fights.
