Hairy got in a bind, on his own and hungry. He went through someone's cat door looking for food. Bad move. They trapped him and took him to the shelter, where wild boys get killed. But this shelter didn't want to kill him just because he was wild and asked if I'd take him. I did. He's been here three years and seemed to want to stay wild. Which was ok by me if that was his thing. Until he needed to be confined in my bathroom for treatment of an ear infection. Then Hairy made overtures, and came out, of the closet, finally, as a wannabe tame boy. He's old and getting what he wants. Never too late.
