When 29-year-old Bay Area teacher Brittany Maynard received a diagnosis of terminal brain cancer, she moved to Oregon, where physician-assisted death is legal. Maynard died this past November after taking prescription life-ending medications. Her story has reignited a national debate about end-of-life choices, and it's mobilizing groups around the country.
