High Speed Pursuit Ends in Motorcylce Crash Near Visitors Center

July 09, 2013: Just before 10:00 PM Llano Police Officer Koch observed a motor cyclist run a stop sign at Ford and Luce Streets in the city. A traffic stop was initiated and and the driver failed to stop and a pursuit began. The pursuit continued North bound across Inks Bridge and right on Train Station Drive. The pursuit ended just East of The Visitors Center when the driver lost control and struck a curb. The driver Timothy Watson of Llano was transported by Llano County EMS to Scott and White Llano and was air lifted from the hospital. According to Chief of Police James Schilling charges are pending at this time.
