With the AA guns activated we head back inside the compound to plan the escape, yet no sooner than we agree what to do Cerberus attack in full force, breaking right into the command center of the base and prompting the need to fight our way out! A veritable army of Cerberus troops faces Shepard as the evacuation shuttles fly out, trying to reach the Normandy's shuttle she is dazed and confused leading to a heroic intervention by those that were under threat. Back on the Normandy we pal around with the crew for a while, talking to Edi among others before we catch a conversation between Garrus and Vega in a bit of verbal genital measuring! Then we head down to the Citadel where Miranda waits once again, wanting to secure assets from the alliance but not wanting to tell us why.
