It comes in just three pieces, it's made of robust plastic and will take the weight of large rc cars easily. This is the larger monster truck version which I'd recommend as it's not much more $'s than the smaller size DuraTrax car stand is. It will save you money if you buy a bigger car later by not then having to upgrade your RC car stand. 

It packs away small and also features handy part/tool storage built in.
