It was a period of national humiliation and suffering. But after three tough years Ireland has exited the EU emergency programme. Some people dare to speak of the resurrection of the Celtic Tiger. That might be a bit premature. Yes, Ireland does show some positive signs and the worst seems behind, but the road ahead is difficult. Three years ago I met Donal Kelly, who was one of the tens of thousands young Irish men and women to leave the country. In 2010 he left for South Korea, but he came back last years. I was curious. What were the reasons for his return? Does he think Ireland has changed in the past three years and how? Is he more positive about the future of Ireland? We went back to see him and made this report for News Hour.
