The Report looks at reactions to a joint peace statement issued by the Muslim Council of Britain and the Board of Deputies of British Jews. 

British Jewish and Muslim leaders have urged Jews and Muslims in Britain to work together for peace in Israel and Palestine. In a joint statement, the Jewish Board of Deputies and Muslim Council of Britain condemned Islamophobia, anti-Semitism and racism. Part of the statement read:
 
“In spite of the situation in the Middle East, we must continue to work hard for good community relations in the UK. We must not import conflict. We must export peace instead.”
 
Joining John Rees to discuss the statement is a representative from the Muslim Council of Britain, Talha Ahmad, who is Chair of the Membership Committee at the Muslim Council of Britain.
