CBN establishes bridge bank to take over Skye Bank assets

The Central Bank of Nigeria has established a bridge bank, Polaris Bank, to take over the assets and liabilities of Skye Bank. The CBN notes that the strategy is for the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria to capitalise the bridge bank and begin the process of sourcing investors to buy out AMCON.
