On November 7, 2018, the McNulty Foundation and Aspen Institute celebrated Mehrdad Baghai and High Resolves as the recipient of the eleventh annual John P. McNulty Prize. In New York, Baghai accepted the award and joined Dan Porterfield, CEO and President of the Aspen Institute for a conversation on stage. High Resolves designs and delivers learning experiences that inoculate students against hatred, racism and division, and galvanizes them to take action in their communities. What began 13 years ago in a single school, is now in over 350 schools across Australia, and expanded to the US, Canada, China and Brazil. In Australia alone, the program has engaged over 200,000 young people, and is on track to reach 50% of all Australian high schoolers in the next five years. Mehrdad Baghai, a strategist and author, co-founded the model with his wife Roya. The John P. McNulty Prize recognizes individuals who have been called to meaningful action through the Fellowships of the Aspen Global Leadership Network. The McNulty Prize Winner is selected by a jury chaired by former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright and is awarded $100,000; each Laureate receives $25,000. Learn more at mcnultyfound.org
