Up til 1987 I had an apple tree outside my window. In the fall I used to climb it and sit up there and eat, but construction plans took away the tree. I usually think of my apple tree when making these sad chords. But in the 80's, you were supposed to rage and swine (and we did..). Therefore my tune is a mix between punk and my own music (black acoustic/pop). The song came to me in a dream where I played a song about Sweden's most famous punk-pop musician Thåström. I only dreamt the lyrics and the melody of the first line, then I woke up, wrote the rest of the song while making chords, sang a couple of versions in the shower and recorded this on the first take. It can be one or 35 takes when I play.
