The Irish government has decided to exhume the bodies of babies that were buried in a sceptic tank system of a former catholic home In Tuam. These babies were taken away by the catholic church from unmarried mothers. Many of these children died at a very young age. A couple of years ago we made this special report on the forgotten babies of Tuam. We spoke to Catherine Corless, an amateur historian who discovered the fate of these children. We also interviewed John Rodgers, who survived the home in Tuam.
