The IBF's no.1 rated contender for Light Heavyweight world champion, Sergey Kovalev (26-0-1, 23 KOs), Najib Mohammedi (36-3, 22 KOs), was on hand at The Summit in Big Bear, California helping middleweight world champion Gennady Golovkin (31-0, 28 KOs), prepare for his world title defense against Martin Murray (29-1-1, 12 KOs).  After several rounds of sparring, The Boxing Voice's own Sean Zittel caught up with the number one contender.  Mohammedi was not shy in stating he does want his title shot with champion Sergey Kovalev as soon as possible, as well as welcoming a fight with Adonis Stevenson and all of the other big names in and around the light heavyweight division.  

Najib Mohammedi will be fighting his next fight on the undercard of Jean Pascal (29-2-1, 17 KOs) versus Sergey Kovalev (26-0-1, 23 KOs), which will be the Light Heavyweight championship of the world.  Mohammedi will be squaring off against Lee Campbell (8-1-1, 4 KOs).
