You do have to pay a small fee but it's worth it. I have it on a MacBook then use a free program on the MacBook - Quicktime - to record the gameplay from the screen of my MacBook. The separate (and cut in) footage of me and Ninja Boy is recorded on an iPhone 6S. Our Mic is a Blue Snowball connected to the MacBook which adds the audio to the footage of myself and Ninja Boy. I then edit the two films together and add intro, titles, music etc on my MacBook using another free program, iMovie. Happy movie making Big Jim & Ninja Boy
