In Broken Museum, I reflect on a completely destructive attitude in contemporary art and philosophical disorientation that produces an artistic creation based on the message and closer to advertising than to philosophy. The Dadaist manifest opened a necessary but dangerous road on the meaning of the concept art, the art work accepted as whatever action, thought or object that the person called the artist rise to the level of art.
The Dadaism with Duchamp as head of the movement, completely destroyed the relationship between form, concept and message of works of art that were released from all brands archaic, crafts and custom object or flattery bourgeois thereof.
Unlocking the art object, art and virtuosity of the artist which was no longer necessary to dominate any technique so he could consider his actions put his work chosen as the weight of contemporary art in the concept and message, and hereby made ​​for a much more intellectual than artisan.
After the failure of the avant-garde, was introduced postmodernism.A legion of artists who no longer consider themselves artists, and even renege postmodernism and avant-garde movements, it is undeniable that without the deconstruction of art and the artist who started in his Dadaist manifest would never have postmodernity.
Postmodernism has been the generalized definition of contemporary art. Although it is obvious that its features do not correspond to any contemporary creation, media and publishers eager to label everything so globalized, have taken care of implanting so axiomatic to explain easily today.
I personally think that postmodernism has accepted as true the false claim that everything is invented and their abuses of the reinterpretation, mixed styles and individualism above all, and has assumed the decline of his way already implanted the Dadaists and has continued with the destruction of the concept presenting works without original form and containing all existential vacuum.
Disregarding the concept and the way it wraps, to postmodern art just fits the message (which is what is projected towards the viewer). A message too explicit for reflection and individualism of postmodernity that has accepted posts hedonistic, individualistic and too cryptic as valid, ending one of the main functions of art that is to communicate and reflect on their current time.
