Adolfo Hohenstein designed the sets and costumes for the 1900 premiere of Tosca at Rome's Teatro Costanzi - now the Teatro dell'Opera di Roma. In this interview, set designer Carlo Savi explains how he and his team started reconstructing the sets for this production.
