As the holiday season draws near, the biggest Christmas tree in Kyrghyzstan has been lighted in the country's capital Bishkek. On Saturday, thousands of locals gathered on a major square in the capital to witness the lighting ceremony. According to the mayor of Bishkek, the 25-meter-tall Christmas tree was presented by the Chinese Embassy to Kyrghyzstan as a gift to the country.
