Welcome to the second half of the Mega Man X series, AKA the part where the series should have probably ended. This was intended to be the farewell to the Mega Man X series, but then there were 3 games that came after this one. Yikes. This game sees the instauration of many dubious game mechanics, like slowly the entire game down to a crawl with Alia who gives you the poorest of all advice, ill-conceived stage gimmicks that make you dread going to certain levels, and so on.
