I get it . . . 

I hated care plans too while I was in nursing school.  

However, the longer I'm a nurse the more I realize . . . all we do is careplans.  And, critical thinking is the foundation of nursing care plans.

This video is our plea to nursing students:

Don't be that nurse that just checks boxes . . . to get out on time!

Care about your patients.  Think through you care and interventions.  Critically think about what you patient needs. Provide the care you would give your own loved one.
