European Commissioner Viviane Reding (Telecoms and Media) on Thursday delivered a major speech in Brussels in which she outlined the priorities for EU policy makers for the next five years. She urges all to take serious the concerns of young internet users who download music and movies, expressed a clear preference for fiber over copper, and raised several other key issues that will shape Europe's digital policy in the coming years.
