Swedish boat Ericsson 4 won the Singapore in-port race in the 2008-09 Volvo Ocean Race today on January 10 to claim the maximum four points on offer and extend their overall total to 39 points. The next leg of the actual race around the world a 2,500 nautical mile journey from Singapore to Qingdao, China, starts on Sunday, January 18.
