Belt and Road Initiative, China-Laos railway inspire Lao singer's latest hit song

A rock pop, "Yidaiyilu”(“The Belt and Road”), has been topping charts on China's social media since launched. The composer and singer of the song is Athisack Rattanavong, who is famed for his rock n' roll style in Laos. The young man, whose nickname is Sack, said he fell in love with the China-proposed Belt and Road Initiative before composing music for the song. Sack’s love for the Belt and Road also extends to the China-Laos railway, a major part of the initiative.
