(30 Nov 2018) Relatives of passengers and crew who were on the still-missing flight MH370 on Friday handed over what they believe could be more pieces of the plane's debris to Malaysian officials. Grace Nathan, a spokeswoman for the victims' next of kin support group Voice370, showed media a possible piece of the plane's floor panel during the press conference in Kuala Lumpur. She said five pieces had been found by local fishermen in Madagascar. Wreckage hunter Blaine Gibson offered what he believed is part of the access panel. The jet carrying 239 people from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing vanished March 8, 2014, and is presumed to have crashed in the far southern Indian Ocean Malaysia's Transport Minister Anthony Loke said that he is "always prepared to reopen" the case if a credible lead is found. A report released in July raised the possibility that the jet may have been hijacked even though there was no conclusive evidence of why it went off course and flew for over seven hours after severing communications.
