We drove to the park from Thicke Road. This is another beautiful rainforest with a creek that leads to the falls. We chose a nice short trail to the falls on this trip since we had taken a longer hike in the morning. If you are looking for a short, easy hike, with beautiful scenery then Stocking Creek Park offers several winding trails. If you would like to be a little more adventurous like us, you can cross the river, and you can climb down to the falls, so there is some potential for a little more. I know that we have often overlooked Ladysmith as a destination, however the rainforests and waterfalls here are absolutely stunning. In addition it is quite an easy drive from Victoria and makes a nice day trip.
