What was your first job? What did it teach you? How did your first job change the course of your life? Getting your first paid job is both liberating and terrifying. Many of the women in the Sixty and Me community started their work lives as waitresses, store clerks, babysitters, fruit pickers and helpers in a family business. We worked long hours for little pay. Yet, despite the challenges, having a job helped us to transition into adulthood with a sense of pride and independence.
