As seen on WPEC Channel 12, TKA alumna Lauren Jelencovich '03 is currently touring the world with superstar musician Yanni as a featured soloist. To date, Yanni and Lauren have traveled across United States, South America, China, Thailand, Russia, Dubai, Israel, Turkey and Lebanon. Lauren is a tremendous vocal talent, winning Star Search with Ed McMahon while a TKA student and studying opera and musical theater at the Manhattan School of Music in New York after graduation. She has also performed at Carnegie Hall and off Broadway and has recently released a new CD, "Wildest Dreams". The King's Academy, a nationally-recognized private Christian school in Palm Beach County, Florida, has an award-winning high school fine arts program is led by Mr. Eric Dunn (Marching Band, Percussion), Mr. David Snyder (Musical Theater), Mrs. Sonia Santiago (Vocal Arts), Mrs. Cari Kendall (Dance), Mrs. Kimberlee Aliapoulios (Band, Orchestra), Mr. Andy Camizzi (Art), and Mr. Brad Majzner (Stagecraft).
