On 25th March 2017, former Manchester United players, including Paul Scholes, Dwight Yorke, Denis Irwin and Teddy Sheringham, will take on the PFA Aussie Legends in a historic clash that will raise money for Manchester United Foundation and the DT38 Foundation. It’s the first time the Manchester United Legends have visited Western Australia and the team will be managed by former United and England captain, Bryan Robson. It’s also the first time Professional Footballers Australia has assembled a legends team, which will be coached by former Socceroos coach Frank Farina OAM. Manchester United Foundation uses the power of football to engage and inspire young people to build a better life for themselves and unite the communities in which they live. Dedicated staff deliver educational and community outreach programmes to help young people make positive choices in their lives.
