This video clip demonstrates the concept of centripetal force. A marble is set along a circular path within a roll of masking tape. The marble has inertia and wants to continue moving in a straight line, but the roll of masking tape is pushing the marble toward the center of the roll, and thus the marble goes in a circular path.
