The Greenpeace Semester campaign trip gives students a first-hand look at what it takes to work on an environmental campaign and organize in communities. Students travel for one week in the summer and approximately two weeks in the spring and fall to support a current Greenpeace campaign. Students further develop the skills they have just learned in the class, including grassroots organizing skills including volunteer recruitment, planning creative public events, and getting media coverage of an issue.
